All that’s Good

If all that’s good stays
And stays for good
So full of idyllic days
Life will be! Touchwood!

A bloom that never can fade
A sun that never can set
A world so ‘for us’ made
As perfect as it can get

As I muse, a murmur
Rises softly to the fore
And says “look around mister!
And know the score

The shades of life together
Do make it worth living
Of equal import each weather
An impending fall or a certain spring

A never-dying good - taints
So take some pain whatever brief
But make no complaints
And turn over a new leaf.”
